How to Install Recap
Follow these simple steps to get started
Allow the download in Chrome
Chrome may show a warning because Recap is new. This is normal for new software.

Click the arrow, then select "Keep"
Allow in Windows SmartScreen
Windows protects your PC by checking new apps. Click through to run Recap.
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.
Click "More info"
App: Recap.exe
Publisher: Unknown publisher
Click "Run anyway"
Start recording!
Recap will open. Select your audio devices and click Record. That's it!
Why do I see these warnings?
Chrome and Windows show warnings for any new software that isn't yet widely used. This is normal and doesn't mean the software is harmful. As more people download Recap, these warnings will disappear. Your privacy is our priority — Recap stores all recordings locally on your computer.
